Hey Guys, I’m Dani. If You are reading this, you likely realize that I am a lover of the Lowcountry lush lifestyle. Born on the Florida coast, after moving around the country for my career, I happily settled in Beaufort, South Carolina! I’m a Private Detective by trade and have been a small business owner in the Lowcountry for more than 7 years. Everything about style, design, cooking, gardening, and where I live in South Carolina fills my heart with joy! If you follow this blog, you will see the distinctive aura of the modern, coastal south that is unsurpassed by anything else.

I also love education and hold a PhD in Public Policy and Administration. Did this turn me into a guru of the Lowcountry lush lifestyle? Not really. But hey, I’m here to spill more about myself! Before I moved to the Lowcountry, I did move around a lot for my career as a counterintelligence special agent. Boy, do I have some stories about that, but I’ll save those for another day. Today I just enjoy my life with my two rescue dogs and cat, my amazing combat veteran husband, and my plants!
